UK Driving Licence – Paper counterpart
The paper counterpart of the UK Driving licence is no longer valid. If you are looking to hire a car you will need to ensure you have a “check code” from the DVLA so we can check for points/endorsements.
This “check code” can be applied for a maximum of 3 weeks prior to renting the car and can be done on the following webpage: https://www.gov.uk/view-driving-licence
If you can call or email us with the check code prior to renting, we can check your points. You still need to bring your driving licence photo-card, bank card and second form of ID showing name and address with you when you collect the car.
